Jason grabbed her son and as they passed by, Alex eyed him communicating something vicious, to say the least. His former bodyguard gave a barely discernible nod, "I hope you're prepared for what's coming. 'Cause if I don't see my son in the same condition in the next few minutes it'll be only that much more fun for me and hell on earth for you," Alex choked out threateningly.
"You got it, Alex," Jason tried to puff out his chest and keep his composure when she noticed the slight tremor in his hands. He quickly formed a fist and moved away quickly shutting the door behind them.
"What have you told him about us?" Alex looked calm and collected as he turned to question Cam. Cat would've been fooled by his mask of icy indifference if not for the murderous tension pouring out of his built frame.
"Nothing good, I'm afraid," Cam widened his eyes looking sheepishly innocent.
"Try," Alex intoned.
