"Jason? Why?" Alex's asked completely bewildered.
His shocked and hurt expression pained Cat as she realized up until this moment it hadn't crossed his mind that his trusted friend-slash-bodyguard was the traitor. He'd probably killed those girls too, on behalf of Cam.
"Money makes the world go round, doesn't it? You should know Alex," Cam tut-tutted. Alex stared stonily at Jason who wasn't quite able to meet his ex-employer's eyes.
"Bring him," Cam commanded.
Jason left closing the door behind him. Alex was already here with the chip so why did Nate have to be involved anymore?
"What do you want Navarr?" Alex growled. "I gave you the chip and you had it tested. You promised you would let her go, too."
"Is Nate all right?" Cat wanted to know.
