"What do you know about it?" Alex asked at once alert about whatever was going to happen next was important.
"I...I've been-" Luke paused glancing up at him and then the ground.
"What is it?" Alex asked getting up and striding over to crouch in front of his son.
"I've noticed a black van following us for the past few weeks. Just now, when I was leaving Mia with her mother I saw the same van pass by," Luke rushed out in one breath. Alex looked to Mandrake and signalled him to go check on it. He nodded and left the room.
"Why haven't you-?" Alex interrogated as he was cut off.
"I thought I was just being...overly distrusting from before. After all, I know I-we're all safe here. But when I heard Mom was taken and that you were looking for him, I remembered about it," Luke explained.
