"Looks like Mia is going to have some serious competition come Monday," Alex laughingly declared.
"C'mon my son is still young for all of that." Cat groaned.
"You know he's crushing hard on her. When I was his age, I was-" Alex began and shut down at the narrow-eyed glare he got in return.
"Yes…" Cat stared at him.
"I was….ummm…I was running away from all the girls on the playground thinking they had girl cooties," Alex scoffed and waved his hand in the air.
Cat laughed out loud at Alex's silly joke. "Nice save. But I'm still trying to enjoy my time with him before he belongs to any other woman."
"He'll always belong to you first," Alex reminded her somberly.
"I know but still it's not the same after he'll get a girlfriend or a wife," She replied morosely.
