"Alex…" Cat moaned as she ran her hands all over his wide shoulders and into the back of his head.
"Cat," He kissed her softly on the lips, and before she could react or do anything he pulled away. They both breathed heavily as they stared at each other. Cat tried to straighten her shirt and hair but gave up the lost cause as she saw how tangled and messy it was.
"How did we get so far off the track from a simple conversation?" Cat breathed out trying to lighten the ambiance.
"I don't know. Hasn't it always been like this, though?" Alex sassed back. Cat raised her brows and haughtily replied in a mocking tone, "Like we just need to be left alone to catch on fire? Please Alex we're mature adults now."
"Yeah, who can't keep their hands to themselves," He came back with immediately.
