"No." I cried out as tears flew down my cheeks. I could feel my heart burning in pain inside my chest as I tried hard to breathe.
Nothing about this situation seemed real. She felt like she was in a nightmare and there was no waking up. No matter how much she screamed at him, he was not coming back.
"Don't leave me." She screamed once again, but he just kept walking away from her.

She tried to stand from her position on the couch, but her feet felt like they had lead attached to it. She could barely move, but she needed to go to him. Forced him to listen to her. But he was almost out the door.
"Please, don't go." She pleaded this time, barely a whisper as her energy was almost depleted. She felt defeated as he kept going until he was now out of sight.
