Talking about destiny, reminds me of someone who used to never believe in such a thing called destiny and happy ending.
Her name is Ara, which was given by her mother, and that's because 'Ara' was her very first verse that she had mentioned just right after Ara was born.
Ara's life was filled with full of hatred and sadness, being betrayed by someone she fully trusted somehow falling her apart and makes her heart shattered into pieces.
Some people might say; your family will never leave you no matter what happen and will never let you being alone.
Every family must treating each other with love, trusts and always dependable towards each other.
But for her the word 'family', 'happy ending' or 'destiny' does not seems existed in the dictionary of her life.
She remembered that her mother always told her the stories about every princesses were destined to meet their true love; prince charming and will eventually found their own happiness.
She used to love that kind of story.
Her mother always made her believed that; by the time she became an adult someday; she will be destined to found her prince charming and live happily ever after just like her mother used to believe when she met her prince charming, Ara's father.
That was her mother's only happiness and even more after she becomes a mother herself; she has three adorable kids; Shun, Rei and Ara.
All those years; she believed in those things with all her heart but not until her father went home with his new wife only to divorcing her mother then left her and his three kids behind without a slightest feeling of guilty and remorse for what he did.
The view of her father walking away with his new wife had became her last chance of seeing her father before he left again and never returned.
That was the time when her beliefs of happy ending and destiny started to fade away along with the memories of her father.
But the pain of her life doesn't ends just yet, her relationship with her brothers started to strained apart when they have decided to moved out from their home just wanted to lives their life and eventually just leaving them behind; Ara and her mother alone and she was still in 5th grade, Elementary School when that happened.
All those years her mother have been working all her life to raised her daughter alone, struggling with so much difficulties and hardship, without complaining of what she may have done wrong in the past that she needs to faced those painful life.
She was obviously falls apart and devastated but nobody saw her struggle except for her daughter, Ara. And that was when she began to realized that her childhood memories were not something that she will cherish or try to remember.
The situation becomes worse when she got call from the hospital and suddenly informed that her mother was got into an accident on her way to attend her convocation day and unfortunately passed away soon after arrived at the hospital. She froze in shock just right after receiving the news and begins to feels like her world had been crumbled and ruined in moments.
"Is she going to be okay?"
"That poor kid..."
"I feel bad for her, being left alone by her family..."
"Who's going to raise her after this?"
Those words have always been lingering inside her ears every time she passes through that path into her home, but it's actually just a word; totally different than the way they looked at her with disgusts and hatred.
Ara knows that it was just a pretentious played by those people in that neighborhood, who will always tries to meddling with other people's business and life.
Ara spent her youth life living in that house alone with full of hurtful memories that were still intact inside.
The outcome of her painful past, she literally hates it when someone talked about those fairytale stories ever again and even threw away every book that her mother had bought for her and began to shut herself off from people.
Despite of such difficulties, she managed to survived on her own, and even going to school with the help of her landlord but grew up as an emotionless person who doesn't know how to expressing her feelings and emotion.
***For that I am forever indebted to their (landlord) kindness for letting me stay in that house and giving me a job; look after their grocery store right after school.
And luckily, soon after she graduates, she got a job offered at Kuro Entertainment Company as an intern.
She worked so hard with her very best and even took most over time job that being offered to her; as she needs to get more cash as much as possible so that she could buy a new place of her own and get out from that nightmare house and starts her new life leaving those painful past behind.
And her hard works have paid off after few years later, when she finally purchased an average sized room in a small apartment just nearby where she worked.
To her; it doesn't matter how small or big that place is as long as she feels comfy, homey and far from the heart breaking memories of that house then she'll be happy and live in peace.
Talking about her job; she was doing just fine but somehow because of her painful past, she started feeling insecure and always being aware of her surroundings even started to make herself to choose with whom she should trust with or not to.
But because of those awareness; something has happened that makes most of people around her started avoiding her and hating her.
Eventually, she started to believe of being alone apparently much better to which it teaches her how to survived and keep standing up even nobodies would lend their hands to her.
She somewhat thought that she might living her life with those perspectives, beliefs and being alone for the rest of her life unknowingly something is about to happen to her and that will definitely changing her life forever.
And it all started during her first vacation in that mysterious home stay...
