Sofie was pacing back and forth, back and forth inside her room. She was very irritated by the baby's crying disturbance. They were almost at the height of passion. She had been waiting for the moment that Edmond acknowledge her again sexually and when that happened, the baby had to interrupt. It angered her so much.
