Looking at herself in the mirror, Sofie was getting disappointed at how she was starting to look. Her body seemed to have doubled in size. Her legs were a bit swollen, her cheeks were puffy. Her sexy shoes and rings doesn't fit anymore. Her designer clothes were not flattering on her anymore.
She hated how her body was changing due to her pregnancy. Negative things were running through her mind again - what if she didn't go back to her previous look. What if she stayed that way even after giving birth. What if men doesn't find her attractive anymore. What if Edmond left her because of how she looks.
Thinking about these things made her anxious. Maybe it was a wrong decision to make herself get pregnant. However, if she didn't, she would not have her ammunition against Edmond. He will never be forced to marry her without a compelling reason.
