Chapter 35 - THE SENSE OF GUILT

Upon reaching home, Amy slumped at her desk and continued to cry. She felt worse than when she was sick. She looked up at the sky from her window trying to get some answers. Self-pity was swallowing her.

She was not the same spunky-hyped girl that she was and her family was noticing it. She tried so hard to conceal her emotions but still they know her too well to hide these from them.

"What's going on?"

"I am starting to get concerned."

"This is not like her."

"Do you know anything about it?" her mother asked her sister.

Janice responded: "I think I have an idea on what it is about."

Her mom shouted: "Then why are you not talking?"

Janice defended: "Because I'm not sure about it yet but there were gossips in school about Edmond's relationship with a new girl and that they transferred to a new course together."
