Upon seeing Amy, Edmond was stunned. No proper words are coming out of what he was trying to say.
"A... wha..."
Amy was starting to get concerned. She thought that Edmond was just surprised to see her arrived early: "Ahhh, surprised??"
Edmond was breathing heavily as he helped her with her grocery bags and let her in.
Amy was saying: "My work got finished earlier, I was about to surprise you..."
She stopped midway of what she was saying when she walked inside and saw Sofie on the couch. Sofie stood up and walked over Amy extending her hand and said:
"Hi, you must be Amy. I'm Sofie, Edmond's partner.... ehmm... I mean business partner."
Amy was confused. She was looking at the most beautiful blonde girl she had even seen inside Edmond's apartment but nevertheless, she must always show grace and she heard her say "business partner".
