The train was travelling for hours now. Outside it was already dark and still raining. In the whole train ride, Amy was just crying. It started with watery eyes, then tears kept pouring, then sobbing until she let a loud cry out. She tried to muffle her cry by covering her mouth with her hands. Even the loud sound of pouring rain outside cannot compete with the sound of pain and misery that she was feeling inside.
The train cart had only about five passengers and Amy was one of the five. The others were old folks returning to their village. An elderly couple seated together a few seats away from her noticed that she was crying. The old lady was concerned and wanted to comfort her. Her husband was restraining her to come near Amy and saying that it was none of their business.
