"BOSS..." her staff shouted the moment she stepped into the restaurant. They ran to her as they offered her flowers after flowers.
She laughed as bear hugs kept coming, "You guys are so cute " Camilla kept giggling.
After chatting for almost an hour they went to work getting ready for the evening.
Chris finally arrived at work. He turned to his son in the back and smiled.
"Let's go to work, son," he said getting out. Chris grabbed his baby's things and then his Son, closed the car, and walked to the elevator.
"Morning Sir, we have a....." his assistant fell silent the moment her eyes landed on what he was holding.
"Morning, you can go on," Chris said as he walked past him. He could feel the stares from his employees as he walked to his office.
"You...you have a meeting in thirty minutes with the board and then another one at eleven with the new investors for the upcoming project," he said.
"Okay, is my brother here yet?" he asked.
"He arrived one hour ago and is in a meeting with the international clients"
"Okay, you may leave," he said. He gently placed his son on the couch and placed his other stuff down.
"So let's get ready for our meeting," he said to his son who giggled back at him.
He reviewed the documents on his desk and then walked back to his son. Fixed his little suit and carried him out.
The meeting room was silent as they watched him walk in with his son. It was like seeing a cute, handsome small version of their boss, they all kept staring at both of them.
Chris sat down and held his son so they could face the others, "Let's begin " he said.
One after the other came forward and presented their data. Chris would pay attention and then return his eyes to his son.
Who kept looking around smiling and giggling the whole time. Some couldn't hold their smiles as they watched him.
The meeting went on for too long that he finally got tired and fell asleep. Chris held him and turned to his board.
"Send the rest to my office and I will review them later," he said getting up. They watched him walk out of the room.
Liam slept for hours giving. Chris had enough time to do his work it was until Jack came in that he woke up.
"Oh Liam is here, I was wondering what was making everyone so unsettled today. They all keep looking at your office" Jack said as he walked to where his nephew was.
Chris didn't get up and let him carry him.
"How is my nephew doing today, decided to come work with your father " Jack kissed his little cheeks.
"His bottle is in that bag," Chris said. Jack say down after grabbing the milk bottle and started feeding Liam.
"How is sister-in-law doing, I saw the news that she's going back to work," he asked.
"Okay, she was excited to go back that I didn't want Liam to give him a hard time so I brought him here," Chris said.
"what about your work?" Jack asked.
"I can handle it " Chris looked down at his son who was being fed.
"Have you gone to see her yet?every time I go there she keeps asking for you " Jack said.
Chris who had been looking at his son with a small turned away instantly with his smile dropping.
"Why would I she and I have nothing to say to each other " he sad
Jack sighed looking down at Liam sucking on his bottle, "brother you might have nothing to say but she does. Her doctor said her condition keeps getting worse"
"And what has that got to do with me, I don't have anything to say to that murderer"
"Am just worried that something bad might happen to her and you never get the chance to speak to her again " said Jack.
"Jack, I don't know what she tells you every time you go see her but the next time you do, please tell her to leave me alone. My life is finally where I want it to be and seeing her might bring bad luck " Chris finished.
Jack finished feeding Liam and carried him to his father, "I understand brother and I will tell her but I just hope you still think about it " he said before walking out of the office.
Chris laid Liam on his shoulders and slowly tapped his back.
"Son, should we think about it?" he murmured.
After work, he drove to the restaurant and walked in. It was full of customers. He saw Camilla talking to some of them at the far table. She looked so happy it made him smile.
And like she knew they were there Camilla turned to lock eyes with her husband.
She said something to her guests and then walked toward them.
"My two angels " she hugged them both. Liam got excited when he saw his mother opening his arms for her to carry her.
"How is my little Liam " she kissed his little lips then tiptoed to kiss her husband.
"Seems you doing well," he said. She nodded with a blush on her face.
"I was so happy when I saw all of them come here to support me, I didn't know I was this big of a celebrity " she laughed.
Chris hugged her, "You are, and am glad this turned out well ". She leads them to their reserved table and they say down.
" What will you eat tonight love?" she asked.
"You" he answered.
"WHAT?....she laughed...Chris you know that's not possible right now " she laughed. "
"then when?" he asked. Camilla looked away to avoid his lustful gaze.
"When my work here is done," she said looking down at her son.
"It seems done and I think the rest Ben and Ritah can handle it," Chris said getting up.
"But..but I still have...." she stammered to say but he stopped her and turned around.
"Excuse me, ladies and Gentlemen, a good evening," he said.
Everyone in the restaurant who heard replied to him.
"I want to thank all those who came here today to support my wife. This has shown us that we can rely on you and hope you can still support her in the future, after all, she's still the best ". he said and they all clapped with giggles.
He looked at Camilla and pulled him up next to him.
" I also want to thank her for adding another mini me to the family, everyone meets my son, Liam Huntsman," he said.
They could hear whispers commenting on how handsome and cute their baby was. And those who had not seen him yet were busy taking pictures of them.
"And now that you all know Camilla is married and a mother now. You need to know that she had other duties to attend to part formwork and that is us, me, and my son. So we came to pick her up " he said.
Camilla laughed, "But I still have work here " she muttered.
"So if you expected to see her the whole night I won't apologize but we are now taking her home with us. So enjoy yourself and do come back again " he said and grabbed Camilla's hand to go.
She frowned and refused to go but he smiled when he saw Ritah bring her things. He grabbed them and bent down to her carrying her off her feet.
"Chris..." she shouted but he didn't heed.
Her carrying their son and him carrying her they disappeared through the door as the whole restaurant cheered and clapped their hands.
