The clothes she ordered had been delivered. Chris grinned when he noticed they were matching outfits.
"you ordered them?" he asked pointing to his t-shirt that had a cartoon version of Camilla.
Camilla turned to Chris, "I did .do you like it " he nodded.
"But when where they made?" he asked.
"I was going to order something else when I saw them. They made t-shirts with our faces on them too, their shoes, capes, cups " she laughed, "everything you could imagine, but I loved these best ". she tapped his chest.
He looked at hers which had his cartoon version. Soon they walked out of the hotel. They had made sure not to attract attention but just their presence was enough to cause a stir around. Camilla could hear murmurs as they walked to the hotel entrance.
She noticed the two hotel staff friends and waved at them with a smile, they replied with wide smiles.
Chris drove them to the station.
" What should we do with those three? I still haven't figured it out " Camilla sighed.
"They could not have done it alone, Lily must have got help from someone. We never shared our location with anyone but how did she know where I was exactly?"
Camilla fell silent wondering if she should tell Chris about his mother's help.
They got to the station and Camilla held Chris's hand turning him to her.
"Babe, before we go in there. Let me tell you something "
Chris waited for her to continue.."The person who helped Lily was your mother. Lily told me everything last night "
Chris's face changed from being shocked to sadness. He looked away but Camilla pulled him back.
"I know love and am sorry that she still wants to hurt you like this. But you promised to let her go no matter what she does "
"But Milla...why does mom keep doing this?" he asked, his voice cracking.
She sighed holding his hands, "I can't answer that question cause I dont know the answer to it. Only your mother has its answer "
"I...I dont know what to do anymore ".." No..no..dont cry love " Camilla pulled his face to her lips kissing his eyes.
His was hurt and she felt his pain, she hugged him and he held onto her hiding his pain in her neck.
"Am sorry darling that it has to be a mother. But it has happened and I got there in time" she held his face placing her forehead on him and wiping his tears. He seemed to have a temperature but she ignored it for another time.
"She can do whatever she can to separate us but no matter what am not going anywhere, okay love " she kissed the tip of his nose and he smiled.
"Now let us go handle those three and will go see mother next. And don't worry about her cause am going to handle her punishment this time " kissing his lips Camilla pulled away.
"But Babe, I can't help you hide Mom's body. Dad will find out " he said. And Camilla coughed glaring at him, "who said I was going to kill your mother " she slapped his head, "do you see me as a serial killer?" she frowned.
"well I thought the most convenient method would be getting rid of her " Chris rubbed his head. Camilla's eyes almost bulged out of her sockets, "Chris?!...why would I have such an idea " she sighed, "and we are talking about your mother, control that murderous intent you have, and let's go see our kidnappers "
He nodded but then stopped, "So I should only ask my friend to prepare for three corpses only?"
Camilla turned away from the door and. jumped backed in the car pulling Chris's ear with anger.
"Didn't you hear me I said there was no killing anyone. Stop with your nonsense and follow me now " she barked. Chris fell silent and jumped out of the car.
Camilla gave him an angry look and fixed his shirt & hair then held his arm and walked to the entrance of the station.
The there baker sisters moved further to the back of the room the moment Camilla and Chris walked in. Their parents got up from their seats.
Camilla said hello to the officers and took a seat next to Chris.
"How are my three kidnappers doing " she smiled, "I can't say I enjoyed saying that, but am so angry that my future husband was taken by three weak women "
"We are sorry Camilla. It was Lily who forced us " Hannah cried.
"What?, after receiving all those luxury brands of clothes I bought you, now you're betraying me " Lily barked.
Miracle and Hannah backed away from their sister.
Camilla sighed, "I thought I had warned you but you just can't seem to listen. Now what to do with you "
Their mother turned to Camilla and gently held her hand, Camilla's fierce eyes moved from her daughters to her.
"Please forgive them. I promise to keep an eye on them from now on" she said.
Camilla pulled away her hand, "How many times do you think I have? Ask them, but I think you know cause you have been spying on me for while now "
Mrs.Baker halted and turned away, "I didn't mean to I just wanted to help my daughter understand that she had no chance with Chris "
"Hmm, Hannah and Miracle I can let go but not Lily. She has to pay for what she did to Chris " Camilla smiled coldly.
Mr. Baker, who had been silent got up and turned to Chris, "So you're going to keep quiet and let her control your life like this? My daughter was just trying to fight and get back her position, this woman stole from her. But now she has to pay for it are you all crazy?" he shouted.
Camilla snickered giving him a look, "Now I see where your daughter got her disgusting attitude from. This is between me and your daughter please don't interfere" her hand moved to Chris's hand, "and please dont harasses my fiancee his the victim here "
She got up and walked to the three sisters who backed away in fear. "In case you dont know the whole story let me fill you in, this daughter of yours drugged my fiancee. Then moved him to a hotel room" Camilla gave Mr.Baker a questioning look.."I dont know what that means to you but to me, it clearly shows your daughter is a cheap whore "
Camilla stopped glancing at Mrs.Baker, "Am sorry for my term of words but I can't find any better word to describe it, but Lily here was willing to drug a man and sleep with him against his will "
"You what?" her father turned to Lily, "Dad it was the only way " she cried.
"Lily I was willing to help you in any way but never like this. It's too degrading, especially for our family, what will everyone think when the news gets out " her father spat out.
"Let's calm down, I won't let this be linked out cause it also concerns the reputation of my fiancee" Camilla walked back to Chris.
Mr.Baker shaking eyes turned to her with half a smile on his face, "your really a good person . Thank you so much " he muttered.
Camilla sneered seeing his reaction change instantly.
"Am willing to do this on one condition " she said.
They all looked at her till the mother of three asked what it was.
"Take the two sisters and leave Lily to me"
Hannah and Miracle got up and nodded while Lily dropped to the floor watching her sisters betray her.
Her parents turned to her and frowned then her father asked.
"Can you promise she will return home with all her limbs?"
Camilla laughed, "Everyone seems to think so bad about me, but Yes, I will send her home with all her limbs intact ".
" Then it's settled "her father got up from his seat and gestured for the twins to get up, " am sorry Lilly this is the best I can do," he said.
"But Dad, you said you would protect me at all cost, then why are you doing this?" Lily cried.
"I did say that, but I didn't mean you could go to all these stupid lengths just to get him" her father moved to where she was and bent down, "am sorry Lily I can't afford to offend both the Huntsman and Smith just for you . Our family can't risk that " he got up and walked out without looking back.
He could hear his daughter call him but he was a coward who treasured his fortune and name more than his spoilt daughter. He knew it was his fault for spoiling her like that but it was time she got back in line.
Mrs.Baker grabbed her two daughter's hands, "I told you I could not protect you if you went this far . Now all I can say is face the consequences of your actions " she said and walked away.
Her sisters waved her goodbye with tears in their eyes.
"Whoa, it's like they are never going to see you again. Do they think am going to kill you or what " Camilla leaned back on Chris's shoulder and yawned lazily.
"Tired already," he asked..."Just hungry again " she frowned.
He gave a lily a look and frowned..."Just your face makes her so tired "
Camilla giggled, "Don't blame others for my weakness, it's just the pregnancy. I get hungry easily you know that"
"Let me go bring the car closer so we can go then " Chris got up. Camilla nodded and watched him leave.
She turned to Lily and smiled, "Can you get up now, I won't do anything to you "
Lily hesitated but Camilla walked to her and helped her up.
After she returned to her seat she asked, "how is your wound?" she asked.
Lily looked up and met Camilla's eyes, "am okay they stitched it " Camilla nodded, "Does it still hurt?"
Lily shook her head, "No the doctor gave me some painkillers "
"Mmm, that's good then " Chris walked back, "Let's go," he said.
"Are you hungry?" Camilla asked Lily. She stared at Camilla like she was processing what had been asked. But Camilla asked again.
Lily answered, "A little I guess " Camilla got up, "then let's go have something "
Lily remained seated still not sure what was going on and Camilla frowned, "Hi, get up and follow me before I change my mind "
Chris didn't say anything and watched the confused Lily follow them to the car. The officers she expected to protest didn't do anything and let her follow the couple.
Chris opened the back door and Lily got in then helped Camilla in her seat bulked her seat belt then walked to his.
"Where do you want to eat?" he asked after settling down.
"To my restaurant, I told the others to meet us there," she said. He nodded and started the car.
