Chris was getting bored, everything was going smoothly but he missed Camilla. She looked sad when he left her home and all he could think about was her.
"Brother, don't act like that, come dance with us. Everybody is here to wish you the best " Jack pulled his brother up. They had called all his friends and partners in business. Especially the male to celebrate with him.
The music was so loud it gave him a headache. But he remembered he had promised to have fun tonight so he got up following his brother to the others.
They were dancing and shouting, his friends had invited some entertainers but none approached Chris. His cold handsome face scared them away. He sighed and took the glass of alcohol they passed. And so. they were having a drinking game.
"Drink, drink, drink...." they chanted as Jack and bus brother competed. Chris won again and they cheered for him.
"next..." he shouted. And someone else popped out to challenge him. They knew he could hold his liquor but to what extent?
"Excuse me " a female voice stopped the waiter who was going to deliver more drinks to the suit.
"Yes, miss, "
"My husband-to-be is in there with his friend celebrating and am worried that he might drink too much and get sick the next day " she sighed.
"How can I help?" the waiter smiled.
"Just pass him some cold juice to cool him down then help him to the next room to rest. I will check on him later just to make sure his okay " she said.
The man was quiet like he was thinking, "I promise not to cause any trouble for you, I am just worried about him " she added.
He finally nodded taking the glass of juice from her and entering the room.
Chris had just dropped down in his seat again after beating six of his friends. His was drank now but still could beat them all.
"Sir," a voice said next to him. He looked up to see the waiter moving a glass of juice to him. He took it cause he felt tired of the liquor. He finished it in one gulp and fell back in his seat.
After a while Jack returned with two more of his friend, "tired already, or are you up for another challenge " one of them shouted.
Chris looked up, "let us go then " he smiled getting up.
The waiter left the room, "Sorry madam, could not get him to leave but he took the juice "
A smile appeared on the woman, "that's fine at least it will help him sober up. I will just wait for him here then " she waved him away.
"Boss, the man in there seems familiar, who is he?" the waiter asked.
His boss frowned, "his Chris Hunstman, the owner of this place. They are having his bachelor party cause his getting married soon "
"Oh, I just saw his wife be outside their room," he said.
The boss paused and frowned even more. "You mean the famous Camilla Smith is here too?"
"I don't know what she looks like, but she told me he was her husband-to-be"
"Hmmm, I thought they would be having them at different places. He grabbed his phone and scrolled through something, " See she just posted a photo of her party minutes ago " he showed the picture of a beautiful woman in white next to others.
"woow, she pretty " the little waiter gaped. His boss took his phone away, "hi, close your mouth you might drool on my phone "
"But she wasn't the one I talked to," he said closing his mouth.
"Then who was that imposter" his boss looked down in confusion then turned, "did you give the boss the drink she gave you "
The little waiter nodded and his boss drowned his head down. "You stupid sometimes, don't go trusting everyone you see. Now what should we do about this "
He paced left to right, "What if it's a poisoned drink, ...or worse drugged " he grabbed his phone. "I don't even have her number I would have called her directly "
"What about anyone around her?" the little waiter asked.
He was on his phone, telling the waiter to go check if the woman was still there. He ran and returned quickly with a crying face, "She isn't there and when I checked inside, the boss was missing too ".
"Shit, we are screwed " his boss cursed.
