Camilla told Chris what she had dreamed about, he smiled with tears in his eyes.
"He's is a better place," he said.
"He told me to tell you that he loves you " Chris nodded listening to her.
"So he was a little boy " he laughed.
"Yeah, he had your eyes and smile. He was so cute " she cried.
"Then this one will look like you " he touched her belly.
Camilla giggled, "We'll according to little Chris, it's a boy again "
Chris laughed, "Then another little me ".
They laid down in bed in silence until Camilla went back to sleep.
Chris sighed, he was glad that Camilla had such a dream. Her guilt for not fighting for their unborn child would vanish.
"Wish he would visit me too, I wanted to see what he looks like " he murmured.
Camilla left the hospital after spending another week in bed. She had been complaining about leaving every day but Chris won't bulge. He had a bad memory of not listening to the doctor and won't face it again.
Chris was working from home now since he wanted to take care of Camilla. When she was better enough to walk around, he would still carry her, fed her, and even bathe her. She had protested the first time but then got so used to it that she would call him to the bathroom if he had forgotten.
"Am doing okay mom, and the baby too" she talks to her mother on the phone.
"Take care of yourself now..soon you will be three months pregnant "
Camilla nodded, "I hope my wedding dress still fits " she laughed.
"Yes it will, you might be changing but it's not that big yet. So it will fit "
She walked to the study after hanging up. Chris was on the phone talking to a client so she took a seat quietly.
after he was done he looked up and smiled.
"Done with business, my love " Camilla moved to his side.
He nodded.
"Let's go to the restaurant, I want to eat something nice," she said.
"I can cook, what do you want?" he got up.
She shook her head, "No, I want something from my menu and you don't know how to cook it while am too lazy to cook myself"
He sighed, he knew she had recovered by still didn't want to take chances.
"Please love, am better and I feel am suffocating in here even with you here " she makes a puppy face.
Chris had finally accepted and drove them to the restaurant.
She jumped out of the car and ran to the entrance.
"Camilla be careful " Chris locked the car and ran after her.
"AM BACK!" she shouted and the whole place fell silent.
The customers and her staff all turned to the one at the entrance.
"Boss " Ritah and the waiters all shouted running to her side.
"Camilla, chef Camilla is back " she heard the customers say.
Her smile free bigger as the staff from the kitchen led by Ben came running out towards her.
Everyone was hugging and welcoming her back.
" Bestie " she heard a voice cry, it was Ray he must have come over to eat. Behind him stood Alfred and Jack smiling at her.
They had been visiting her once in a while but it was a long since they last saw her.
"You guys are here too " she giggled. They moved to their table and everybody returned to their seats while the staff went back to work.
Chris let her order whatever she wanted since it had been long since she came out. Their table was filled with food.
"Am paying for everything " Ray shouted "It's to welcome back my bestie "
They ate and drank while they chatted. Camilla told them how Chris was treating her at home. he was so overprotective sometimes it drove her crazy.
"Ray, how is Racheal?" Camilla asked.
Ray frowned, "We'll am still working on it " he finished his wine.
"You are so slow am worried you are going to be alone during my wedding. I will help you with it after being fully allowed to move out " she smiled eyeing Chris's expression.
"I trust you bestie " Ray smiled.
Chris turned to his brother, "and how is Alfred treating you brother?"
Jack looked down at his food, "We are doing fine " he said.
"Alfred " Chris turned to him "when did you plan on telling me about your idea of marrying my brother?"
His cold dark eyes pierced through Alfred's green ones which moved from Chris to Camilla. She looked away and smiled shyly.
Alfred knew who had told him, it was Camilla.
"Am sorry Alfred, I might have told him when I was so bored at home " she said.
"Why are you apologizing " Chris frowned.
Alfred nodded, "Yes I plan on marrying your brother and I have been lucky enough to receive your parent's blessing and wanted to get your too cause I don't think I only want to be just a boyfriend to Jack ".
Alfred got up, " I have been looking for a chance to ask him a question that has kept me awake or messed up at work a few times, he chuckled, but I think this is the right time to say it ".
The restaurant had fallen silent and everyone was looking at the tall man whose eyes were down on another, who seemed too be shocked at what was going on.
Alfred turned Jack's chair towards him and got on one knee pulling a tiny box from his coat. The audience gasped in excitement watching Alfred,
" With your brother our friends and everyone here tonight, I want to ask you, my beloved, to give me the chance to stay with you forever so with this ring am asking, WILL YOU MARRY ME?" he breathed.
Everyone was silent looking at the face with blue teary eyes waiting for him to reply to the question.
Jack had not expected Alfred to do in front of all the people, or even mean it every time he said he wanted to marry him. He thought he was teasing him but he was her now with a ring in his hand asking him for real to marry him.
"I..i.." he stammered not wanting to cry. Your a man Jack don't cry he told himself.
Alfred's green eyes were staring at him smiling as he patiently waited for Jack to answer. Jack then knew this man would do anything for him and Alfred loved him.
"I do," he said crying although he had promised not to.
Alfred moved to place the ring on his finger, Jack pulled him up and fell into his embrace.
"I love you " he whispered in Alfred's ear.
"I love you too " he answered.
He could hear loud applause as Camilla, Ray even Chris, and everyone shout in happiness for them.
It was a warm evening with everyone being happy and jolly.
A black car that had been parked outside the popular restaurant finally drove off.
