Ray had just left his room when a call came from Chris. He had just arrived and wanted to talk before he met with Camilla.
"She never left her room " he assured Chris after they met in the hotel bar.
"Okay, the information I have is that she's been in different places over the years and her parents had died in an accident before she turned eighteen years leaving her in the care of her family helper," Chris said.
"You mean she had no relatives?"
"Her parents had cut off relations with their relatives in fear of being killed for their fortune and when they died they had left everything for her & under the care of her nanny, who seemed to give a criminal record her parents never knew ".
" So if this crazy girl was raised by another crazy criminal then the outcome would be chaos. But why is she so obsessed with you?" Ray asked.
"Because my parents and hers had been business partners before their death. And after that with the help of her parent's trustworthy partners, she took over their positions. Since I took a long to take over the company I didn't know about her " Chris frowned.
"So you mean she's your company business partner?" Ray turned to Chris with a serious look.
He nodded, "She been trying to get me to meet her but I always turn her down. And I can't cease our dealing with them since my parents & hers were close "
"So you mean your mom knows her, then why didn't she tell us earlier when she was causing trouble for us back in school?"
"Cause my mom always wanted her to be my partner from day one and supported all her doings behind our backs that's why it was always hard to defeat her and me being kept in the dark "
"So your mom played along or even helped her to get all her schemes to action, killing her grandson with a cover of protecting Camilla from Samantha but she was creating more chances for " Ray felt his anger rise
"During the time Camilla was away from me mom kept forcing me to meet her but I never yielded to her " Chris looked at his phone.
"What's wrong?"
"Let's go upstairs & get Camilla even with those guards there I still feel worried and it's been a long time since she went to her room. Samantha was last seen leaving the airport after you and Camilla landed so am more worried " he said getting up.
"So she's here already. Ray sighed " Then let's go meet Camilla " they walked to the elevator.
Chris didn't knock on her room and just walked in calling her name. He moved to the living room only to see her lying at the base of the stairs unconscious.
"Camilla " he called running to her side.
Ray hurriedly called for help as Chris carried her off the floor and moved to the couch.
She woke up after the doctor who had been called had bandaged her head wound. Chris held her hand and she tried to smile in pain.
"Love, what happened?" he asked
She turned around to see their worried expressions and laid back.
"I heard someone in the living room and when I came to see who it was someone pushed me down the stairs," she said.
"That bitch " Ray walked out.
Camilla turned to Chris and held his hand, " What's wrong?"
Chris sighed and decided to tell her everything about Samantha. And she was shocked and scared. Chris held her until she fell asleep then moved out to talk with Ray.
"We need to increase security and search for this lunatic before she completely hurt my Camilla " Chris was angry and worried about Camilla's life.
Ray nodded.
Camilla who had been listening to them in her room walked back to bed and then laid back down with a smile on her face!.
