It seemed a new thing had appeared in my status, it finally showed the mentor thing, something that I had not been able to see after I got it.

Ok, the reason I was really looking at it, it was just kinda satisfying to see my status. I had seen Nagi's, I had taken a peek while he was sleeping and I knew that even his lowest surpassed 2,000 which was crazy.

Time to do it I gues

Wow, my choices sucked, really hard. The two first were both routes I most definitely did not want to tread. The third one had a drawback that was way too big, I mean, I would love to get a real flesh body.

It seemed like the system was trying to push me to choose the last one. I did find it interesting, especially since it seemed to be related to Ratio.

Well, I guess the only possible choice was the last one. It was risky but it was better to take a risk than have to take those other paths.

Give me the fourth option.

--------

I was once again in the soul world. Only one God was there, the one with the voice that sounded like a choir.

"It seems you have returned. I was wondering why it didn't happen last time but I can sense it now, a sacred blade, truly an interesting creation."

"So that's the reason? I thought it was just a random thing and it just didn't happen last time for some reason."

The god looked at my soul observing it.

"I'm intrigued at your growth, uhm ..., Lizbeth, was it? You seem to have unlocked the secrets of the soul."

"Wait, you reincarnated me and forgot my name? That's just cold man."

"It has been two years and I've only lived for ninety years, so time is still just normal to me."

"Wait, you're that young a god, and you already want to overthrow Aurelion? That seems very weird to me."

"It's not weird, it's just ... Oh, would you look at that, your time is up, I'll see you during your next evolution."

Abd with that, I returned to the land of the living. It seems that without his friend there, he's a lot less regal and godly.

When I opened my eyes, I felt that I had changed, but I couldn't quite put a finger on it. My body was still just a rock, I was still just a dark sky blue and I didn't feel that different.

{Congratulations on reaching tier 3, a milestone for any non-human or non-dragon. You have evolved into a sacred golem, allowing you a deeper understanding over sacred objects.}

Wow, that's it? I get nothing but some deeper understanding, what is that all about?

I try to summon Ratio and have no difficulty doing so, the sword seems to listen to my every whim, doing what I want it to do, when I want it too.

I also felt that something wasn't right, this sword wasn't mine. Not in the sense that I wasn't it's owner, but in the sense that it didn't want me.

It listened to me, sure, but it didn't truly accept me.

I could sense that this was different for the other weapons. Nagi's blade seemed to have some sort of blind devotion towards him, Markus' axe seemed to be content about it's wielder and the rapier seemed to have some sort of determination to serve Diana.

Wait, what am I even saying, why am I talking about these weapons as if they're alive? That's ridiculous, right? RIGHT?!

The more I think about it, the more it does make sense, I mean, it's fantasy 101, powerfull magic items have a will of their own so it's not that far of a stretch.

Well, it seems I've figured out what the understanding is for, thanks system for rubbing in that this sword doesn't want me.

Luckily, unlike the gluttony incident, the system didn't react.

Well, it seems it's time for a training montage, at least for you, for me, it was 1 year of grueling training under the two most inhuman people belonging to the human race.
