LAIS
"I'm planning to go big on Halloween week. I'm thinking Iron Man, or a carrot," I responds.
"You would make a handsome carrot. Every little bunny would be after you," she says with a smirk.
I laugh at that, a genuine one.
Elen sighs.
"Would you like to stash the car and take a walk?" she asks out of the blue.
I smile. That's more like it.
I pull over at the side of the road. Dialing up the personal driver service' number, I leave the key in the ignition and take my jacket.
Elen leads the way, I follow her.
The spring breeze blows softly against us as we walk. The trees have started to regrow their leaves, and buds have started to appear everywhere. What a view.
"It has been quite a week, has it not?" she asks.
"It sure has. Gotta say I'm glad it's over," I reply.
"I am happy that you managed to retrieve your sword. I know how much it means to you."
