That was the last time I ever saw my brother. The very next I heard when I woke up, he was imprisoned with the charge of killing the city mayor, with the motive of theft. All the evidence was conclusive, so conclusive that the trial didn't even last more than a week. They branded my innocent brother a thief and a murderer, my poor poor brother, scorned by society and left to rot in prison. 

No matter how I tried telling people that it was a set up, that there was no way my brother would do such a thing, that there was no way he would dishonor our tribe and our name, nobody would listen to me. To them, my brother was already a murderer. To them, once the judge passed the sentence, my brother became an undesirable reject of community.
