Don't get me wrong, I love playing detective. I love figuring out secrets and uncovering clues and debunking mysteries and all that stuff. But what I hate is having to sit down hours on end on my chair, droning away on a repetitive case. Repetition dulls the mind, it makes it prone to habits, and habits make it difficult to adjust to the new. Anyway, my point is I hate sit-down types of work. And that's basically why after another of Sgt. Astre's signal hit us and I was able to trim down my suspects, I decide to stand up for a little stretch.

I head out the computer room, my eyes grateful for the bright lights flooding the Southern headquarters' hallways. Ah, light, freedom!

I head for a nearby coffee vending machine and get my dose of the wakey-wakey stuff. Then I remember that there's a nice spot here at the headquarters, that veranda where you can have a decent view of the sky. And thus I head there.
