Chapter 6 - Grey line

While walking down the thin line,

The grey zone seperated it just fine.

Between the light and darkness it coddled,

Walking forward my steps wobbled.

One foot may land in dark crimes,

And I would be in light other times.

It's hard to maintain balance right?

Even more hard to lean towards light.

For the dark seems too tempting.

But scary enough to stop bending.

Grey line beyond which world turns scary,

Most commonly crossed line so be weary.

Walking down the thin grey line

Would I end up being just fine?

And even before you realise that,

Your legs deviate from the straight path.

But the heart like a moth tries,

Constantly towards light it flies.

Can't seem to get enough of it,

Cracking up smoking from heat.

Ended up burned down to ash,

Everything would be destroyed in a flash.

Grey line beyond which world turns scary,

Most commonly crossed line so be weary.

Walking down the narrow grey zone alone,

Would I be able to endure it all on my own?

Even a little breeze swaying my mind,

Constantly turing to check what's left behind.

Fearing that my shadows would catch up soon,

Feels safest when they dissappeare at noon.

Should I still make efforts to walk straight?

No one's watching but honesty is a tiring trait.

On either side of line I knew I won't survive long,

Same melody repeats over again like an irey song.

Grey line beyond which world turns scary,

Most commonly crossed line so be weary.
