Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnngggggggggg
He bolted upright to his bed when someone called his phone. He reached for his phone and answered it. He was still half-asleep.
"Hello?" said the other line and he recognized the voice immediately.
"Hey Wan, wadayawant?" he said yawning while having a struggle of opening his eyes.
Wanisa Chance is one of Kao's best friends. She's a tall, skinny girl, a little bit taller than Kao with light brown complexion. Her hair is so long that she braided it and coiled it up. She was teased by her friends and called her bunny girl not because she have a bunny face but her hair looks like a huge bun.
Their friendship started in their seventh grade along with Shane. Shane Evans is as same as Kao's height. Waist-level black hair, pale white complexion, and dark sparkly eyes that makes her look more white.
The three of them were very best buddies, hanging out in school every day, sleeping at each others house every night, movies and playing cards and daring games every weekend. It's like their bonded every single day.
When they reached eleventh grade, they still hangout out, but rarely at night, and their squad grows.
"MR. SEIDON! WHERE ON THE CORNERS OF THE EARTH GOD PUT YOU? DON'T YOU KNOW IT'S ALMOST EIGHT IN THE MORNING?!" Wan shouted at him. He turned his phone away from his ears.
"What do you mean?" he moved upright and is now spirited.
"SERIOUSLY?! YOU BLOODY GET YOUR ASS IN HERE IMMEDIATELY. EXAMINATION'S ALMOST STARTING!" her outraging voice almost broke his eardrums.
"YOU BETTER GET HERE BEFORE EIGHT OR ELSE I'LL SUMMON-," He hanged up and did not let her finish.
Kao glanced at the broken glass of his watch.
Seven forty-five?! Hell!
He rushed through his bathroom then grabbed his toothbrush and brushed it violently without paste, turning the tap and rinse. He washed his face and went to his closet, searching for his uniform. He put it immediately then zooming down the stairs, and then went directly to the kitchen. He sighted a muffin as he opened the fridge and swallowed it all at once. He reached for the milk and drank it, spilling some of it on his satchel. Running to the door when his mother called him,
"Aren't you going to eat this?" showing him a bowl of cream soup and hotdogs.
"Nah, but I'm going to take this," he snatched the hotdog and then zoomed through the door. He ran to his dog and tossed the hotdog, then straight to the sidewalk.
His school is four blocks from their house, so he ran. Ignoring all 'hi's and 'hello's of his neighbor. The sun is striking so hard on his face. Crisp wind breeze neutralizes the warm feeling of sunlight. He ran faster and faster, utilizing all the energy he get from that hotdog, and then finally, he reached the gate.
Kao paused and grabbed the bars of the gate for support, gasping for air. He felt a slight dizziness. He shook his head and stood up straight.
"Oxygen, Mr. Seidon?" greeted the old school guard.
"I might need three tanks after this exam, Mr. Jonas," and he winked at Mr. Jonas and then ran immediately into the building.
He ran straight to the corridor and then turned right when he saw something in the corner of his eye.
