Jiayi woke up groaning at the excruciating pain she felt. Her whole body felt like she had been hit by a truck. Looking at the room, she tried sitting up but failed. Just then, she noticed someone by the side of her bed.
"Heavenly king?" Jiayi asked bending down to look at the person carefully.
Just then, her maid Fu Qian entered the room bringing in a tray of food for her. Using hand gesture, she signaled Fu Qian to be quiet as she walked.
"Princess, you are awake." Fu Qian said happily as she set down the tray.
"Of course I am. How can I die so easily?" Jiayi asked smiling.
" My lady, you don't know this. You have been asleep for almost 1000 years. You really scared all of us." Fu Qian said.
" All of us?" Jiayi asked as she stuffed her mouth with food.
