Leon's surprise as it turned out was a two-storey house that was right in the middle of town. It was an old house that looked like a palace. And what surprised me was that this house was right in the middle of the modern world like a whole island that was timeless.
"This is your home now," Leon said and handed me the keys.
"Wait, what about you? Where will you live?"
"You want me to live with you?"
"Yes. I think through all that we've been through, we should just live together. Besides, I don't think I like being alone anymore," I said and spotted Andrew on the first floor of the house. He was standing outside the window waving at me. "Is he here too?"
"Well, yeah. He's your son now."
Like the beginning of some kind of fairy tale, my new life began the very moment I stepped behind the vice of the house.
