Every time I went out for a walk or a coffee, I was accompanied by a lot of people. I did not know them. But they accompanied me in order to protect me from those who still wanted me dead.
I was very touched by what all these people were willing to do for me. They became my shield behind which I hid and felt confident.
Every time I walked down the street, they walked in front of me, behind me, to my right and to my left.
One day I stopped and asked, "Why are you doing this?"
And they replied, "You have given us everything we have now. And so, in gratitude, we must protect you."
I'll always remember those words.
I began to notice the beauty of this city even more. And it even seemed to me that everything around me gradually began to calm down.
