With the lights dimmed in a large room with many statues of different animals and some light classical music playing, we sat around a large table that was filled with all sorts of dishes. During this whole stay I never found out who cooked it all. But if I had, it would be the only person I would want to shake hands with. But I wasn't in the mood for food tonight. My head was occupied with other thoughts and I didn't take my eyes off the glass of red wine that was next to Cameron's hand.
"Skye, why aren't you eating? Aren't you hungry? Or are you running a fever again?" she asked, probably noticing my obvious excitement.
"No. I'm just a little worried."
"For what? What's wrong?"
"I'm starting to like this place and I'm afraid that in time, I might disappoint you all in some way," I said, pretending to be the most harmless person that could live in this world.
