It's a very unpleasant feeling when you get dizzy. You want to keep your thoughts and the world in front of your eyes by all means, but all you can do is just fall to the floor and not be able to stand up.
The cold floor of the university corridor felt very unpleasant on my forehead.
I was lying and through still open eyes, I could see in front of me, as one, then two, three and then a whole crowd of people gathered around.
Loud voices, frightened voices and screams of women. Is it really that scary?
Yes, I'm lying on the floor. I fell. And as I thought, because of my strange dizziness.
"Professor what's wrong with you?"
"Professor! Can you hear me?"
I couldn't answer them. And I couldn't get up either.
Weakness filled my essence and then I just closed my eyes and a mild dream enveloped me from all sides.
Where have I been?
Is it night?
I remember running somewhere ahead. Through the forest which suddenly gave way to cities. The streets, the empty houses, and at the very end of the road, were either Leon or it was Fortunata.
I didn't have time to see because the next thing I did was wake up in the hospital room.
Daylight was shining on me through a large window. And the blizzard was still raging.
I immediately smelled the hospital and sterility.
"Professor do you hear me?" the doctor asked me, including a small flashlight in front of my eyes.
I rubbed my eyes and tried to sit down.
I still felt a slight dizziness.
The thin needle through which the medicine dripped into my blood slightly created discomfort in my left hand.
I woke up and now I could think clearly.
Having caught the looks of Lei and Draken, as well as Nicola's, I smiled at them thus making it clear that I was all right.
"Professor Skyemoone, how do you feel? Look at me," said the elderly doctor who was clearly very worried for me.
"I'm fine. All is well," I replied back by putting my head on the pillow.
"You fainted. And the cause of your dizziness was mild anemia. Tell me professor, do you eat in time?"
"Yes. But sometimes I'm busy with work. And sometimes I can miss dinner."
"You have low hemoglobin levels. You need to eat on time. And also, to look after yourself. You need to eat properly. You know that," the doctor said. His gray eyes were full of anxiety.
"Alright, thank you."
"I'll leave you. If you need something, press this button. And try not to make sudden movements. You can still feel dizzy."
He smiled and left the room.
Draken ran into the room and covered his face with his hand and then sat down next to me. He looked like he had been up all night. How long have I been unconscious?
"How long have I been here?"
"Almost a day. Professor, don't you like the food we cook?" Draken asked, squeezing my shoulder.
"Of course not. Just as I came here, I began to feel strange. Maybe because of climate change. It happens to people. And my organism is very sensitive."
"Professor, don't scare us like that. From now on, I'll make sure you eat," Lei said standing at the door.
"Lei, don't worry. I'm fine."
"You scared us so much. When you fell so sharply, I didn't know what to think. You know, even Mrs. Flora herself was worried about you. She visited you this morning," those words belonged to Nicola who was walking back and forth.
"I brought you a meal. The doctor said you needed to gain energy. And for a few more days, you may not go to university. You need rest."
"I said I feel good now. Don't worry about me. And besides, tomorrow I have an important lecture."
Lei came up to me and put his hand on my forehead. "I think you've got a fever. Nicola, call the doctor."
"Lei, I can get up by now. See?" Long strands of hair were falling on my face.
Lei suddenly grabbed my arm and put me back on the bed. "Professor, if this young man sees that we're forcing you to go to university, this time he won't leave us alone with just slightly rude words," he suddenly said.
"What do you mean?"
He sighed heavily and put his hands in his pockets. "Yesterday, after you were taken to the hospital, a young man came to our house who called himself Leon. And the first thing he asked us was, what we did to you."
"What?! Leon is here?"
"And he's very worried for you. Looks like he felt like you were sick, so he flew to the other side of the planet."
I was surprised. How did he know where I lived?
And I said, "Where is he now?"
"He's with Fortunata."
"Professor, rest. And tomorrow we'll take you home," Draken said and placed a bag of fruit next to me.
"Until Tomorrow Professor."
And no matter how hard I tried to prove to the doctor that I was okay, I still spent the night in the hospital and then on the second day, Lei came after me.
"Leon is very interesting young man. Is he your friend?"
"Yes," I replied.
"He's very smart. And besides, he's very worried about you. He's almost ready to fight with us," Lei said laughing.
I was clenching my hands in my fists and looking at the little houses along the road.
Snowflakes fell to the ground. The weather was as pleasant as ever.
All the way to the house I was silent and when we stopped, I nervously got out of the car.
"Don't you feel dizziness? Here, let me help you."
My legs seemed to carry me towards the forest again.
"Professor where are you going? It is time to eat."
"I want to walk a little. Just need some fresh air. Don't worry," I replied and walked along the snowdrifts.
The blizzard became stronger. I hardly was walking ahead. Snow swirled around, trees danced to the tact of the wind.
I was standing in a snowdrift that reached my knees.
And when I saw those golden hairs, which were the most secret thing in the universe, I was surprised.
Leon was standing in front of me.
He was wearing a black shirt over which he wore a leather jacket.
His hair was as always shaggy. The dark green eyes were brighter than even.
"Leon?"
He stood far from me but I could clearly hear his voice saying, "Professor, we need to talk."
And all I could ask was, "What are you doing here and how did you find me?"
To which he replied, "I said that now, we will meet often, in the places where we shouldn't be."
"What? What are you talking about?"
"Don't pretend, professor. I know you like secrets. So, don't make such a surprised look as if you're shocked."
I laughed.
Those dark green eyes that at times became bright, a little frightened me.
Did I really encounter something supernatural?
He came up to me and now, standing close to me, he brushed the snow off his eyelashes and said, "Professor, we need to talk. But first, you need to eat."
I had so many questions, but I wasn't able to ask them. So, I just went to the house.
And a few minutes later I was sitting at the table, and Leon was sitting next to me.
