I tried to hold in my silly grin as we walked side by side, my hands warmly encased in the palms of the man who walked beside me.
The man who loves me.
I bit down hard on my lips to keep from laughing happily or maybe even skipping down the street that led to Arlan's home.
I remembered when he had first said the words to me, my heart had skipped a thousand beats and I had frozen in place, wondering if I had heard wrong or not.
Then he had said it again.

No pressure. That was was also what he said, no pressure.
That was not possible though, no pressure when the man you loved to death told you he loved you as well?
Fucking hell, I was pressured as fuck.
