"Glad everything finally worked out today…" Granny Shey said with a smile as she removed her apron, hanging it on the cloth rack.
I nodded my thanks at her, cleaning the counter.
"Today was at least very exciting, I look forward to tomorrow." Chelsea said, walking away.
"Bye Chelsea, bye granny Shey, we meet again tomorrow." I called after them.
The day had been very exciting.
At first when I woke up and I did not find Arlan next to me, I had gotten a bit scared but I tried not to think too much on it. When I had finally gotten to my feet, showered and gotten down the stairs, Stacy and Greg had told me that Arlan had to hurry to an important meeting at work.
Finally, I had been a bit settled even though I was still pissed at the fact that Arlan did not even bother to leave a message before he left me. Especially after what we did the night before.
