My bright day, my happy smiles and face all flushed down the drain with Rosha as she left the ice cream shop with a warning for me. I did not blame my friend at all, she was just worrying for me. She had been with me, she had known what Adrian had done to me even though I had gotten to tell her too late and by the time she could do anything about it, I was already locked behind bars, sentenced for seven years.
I knew she was just worrying for me, I knew that. If I were in her shoes I would have done the same to protect my friend. She had come to remind me not to be stupid, not to be foolish. She had come to remind me and show me the scars of what Adrian had done to me, to ask me if I was doing the right thing by being here with this guy, with Arlan who had the same face with Adrian who had tormented my life so much.
