Chapter 40
ARLAN BARDOT
I sat by my desk in my main office, worrying, running my hands through my hair, through my face. I was just worrying in general.
I had just gotten back from a very long and boring meeting where I happened to be the main speaker, so it was not like I could put on sunglasses and pretend I was listening when in fact I was sleeping.
I really wondered what these meetings were for, because at the end of the fucking day, a letter that contained the whole meeting complied into one would still be sent to every member so I really wondered why men in drab, boring suits had to pretend to be so uptight and all.
I snickered when I remembered that I was a man that constantly wore drab and boring suits and I wondered what that said of me.
