"Try to have some faith, Rae." Arlan said with a teasing smile as we walked on and I tried not to act too flustered. He had his hands on me and his smiles directed at me. There was only so much a lady could take naturally.
"Okay…" I muttered hesitantly, trying not to act too out of place in the expansive looking cottage that actually happened to be a restaurant that people did not attend?
As we got to the door, a lone worker in the restaurant spotted us through the glass doors and she hurried over to open the door for us. "Hello!" She beamed brightly, probably happy to have the only customer for the day, I kind of felt bad for her, if she owned the restaurant, that is.
"Hello, Mary." Arlan answered with a smile and I nodded, suddenly shy as we walked in. And then my mouth opened in awe.
