I could not shake the feeling of being watched entirely, even when I had triple checked the bus to see that no one was looking my way, my neck kept prickling me, telling me that someone's eyes monitored my movements closely.
I used to think it was a stupid intuition or paranoia. But, that was before I got into prison. There, I was taught a whole lot of easily unforgettable lessons. One of them being, not ignoring the prickling sensation behind my neck. I had to be at alert and vigilant even though I had no idea in hell why anyone would be watching me, what they wanted from me. I was an ex convict. What could they possibly want?
