Turning the corner to the loading area Chris had already taken out a cannibal that was lingering. Sam ran up the ramp and pulled his keys out and hurriedly tried to find the right one.
"Come on man we dont need to attract more then we can handle" Chris said watching Sam back with the skeletons. Sam found the key and opened the door as he Chris's and the skeletons piled through. Sam slammed the door shut and locked it again making sure it was tightly locked.
"We need to go greet our asshole guests" Chris angrily shouted as he made his way back to the front of the store. Sam followed along as he was equally furious at what had happened.
Walking to the front of the front of the store Sam could hear yelling and screaming as he started running.
"Leave her alone" Joey yelled out as the man grabbed Jenna.
"Take your hand off me" Jenna screamed as she fought against one of the men that came into the store.
"Don't worry little one I'm just making sure your okay" the tan man in a suit said to Jenna with a lecherous smile. Jenna continued to fight as the man smelled her hair. Jenna kick as the man lost his hold and dropped her, as she fell a mace could be seen flying above her head. With a sickening crunch the mace bashed in the right side of the mans head.
"You okay Jenna" Sam helping Jenna up asked as he pointed his sword at the others. Jenna scared held onto Sam trying not to cry from the experience she just had as Joey came over to check on her aswell.
"You killed him" said the man who barricaded the doors to Chris dumbfounded.
"You will be next if I dont get a explanation from ya'll" Chris said as he squared up the the man. The two other people who came in was a middle aged asian women in a Kelly's Flower uniform and a young man whi looked similar to the women in Jean's and a punk rock T shirt.
They huddled behind a self check out station nearby watching what was happening.
"Who are you and how did you get in here" the well built man said holding his axe shakily.
"Is that how you talk and treat the people who saved your sorry excuse for a human being" Chris replied snappily to the man. Seeing as the situation was going nowhere Sam ordered the skeletons to surround the man and disarm him.
"What are you doing Unhand me" the man screamed. Sam looked at Jenna and asked if he had did anything other then barricad the door. She just shook her head as Joey went over to the other two people to see if they were okay.
"You have two choices leave or I beat you then toss you out" Sam turned back to the man being held by the skeletons and told him.
"What that's no choice your trying to kill me HELP MURDERER" the man yelled as everyone just stared at him.
"You do know we are all that's left from the whole store right. Idiot" Chris chastised the man as he walked away and grabbed a water bottle. Sam just shook his head as he commanded the skeletons to throw the man out the back door with his weapon.
If I see you again you will join my group of skeletons you got me" Sam said to the man as he was tossed out. Not waiting for a reply Sam shut and locked the door. Searching for some food Sam started to cook food in the deli area when Chris walked up to him.
"Kelly and Spencer. The two new guest we have" Chris said as he hopped up nd sat on the metal table nearby. Sam nodded as he cook a simple meal in the fryer and oven.
"Thank goodness for gas equipment" Sam said to Chris as he loaded a sheet tray with food and brought it to the front. The middle aged lady walked up to Sam and thanked him for saving her and her son.
"Its no problem I fixed some food. it's not much but it's hot" Sam said as he set it down on a cleared off counter nearby. Chris came up with paper plates and utensil as everyone started to eat.
"I'm sorry that you all had to witness what happened, I'm not apologizing for doing it though" Chris said to everyone before he started eating. Sam just laughed and fixed his plate as he looked at everybody.
"I don't mean to be rude but what is everyone's job" Sam asked as he ate trying to start a conversation.
"Better yet let's introduce ourselves I'll start. I'm Chris and my job is Dread Knight Chapter Master" Chris said then pointed at Sam
"I'm Sam and my job is DreadLord"
"I'm Joey and I'm a Wizard"
"Jenna, Ranger"
"I am Kelly I own Kelly's Flower's and I'm a druid"
"I'm Spencer and my job is Beast Tamer as much as that's going to help"
"Well everyone nice to meet you and welcome to our slice of the Apocalypse. If you have no plans you can join us or you do you and take some food and water" Chris said to everyone after there introduction. Sam hit Chris on the back of the head as nobody was in the mood to joke.
"Read the room jackass" was all Sam could say.
Sam got up and started to clean up as the skeletons continued to move bodies to the back room. Walking to the deli Sam pulled up his status screen to check what had changed with his 3 level ups.
