Life shouldn't have been that harsh with them.
Whatever they had been told had to be a joke because how the hell would they explain the sudden changes? Maybe what the naan meant was that Rhian's curse would take effect and that they would die. That was a way better explanation than being told they would transform into werewolves.
They were literally being told they would be animals in a few hours, and it looked like they were all serious because their nana had run away. Maybe she was really getting old and tried and no one would blame her, after all, it was almost midnight and the old woman was always asleep after the 8 pm prayers.
Angelo and Rhian were left in the matron's office, confused about what had been happening and angry that instead of answers they only got more questions. There had to be some explanation, but since they were not going to get any, it was useless staying here.
