The morning that followed was quite a busy one for the warriors who had allied to stop Zarinah. They had to burn the bodies of their fallen, considering there was no place to bury them anyway.
It kind of hurt that they wouldn't get a proper burial but at least they all knew they were at war, and they could grieve their lost ones after the war. Alexei looked like it had been raided by bodies falling from the sky.
Now that it was daytime, everything was quite clear. The pains, losses, and gains - if ever there were any, but there was nothing to be proud of from the look of things. They were all aware that the falci wasn't done with them.
