Mikhail looked at the sight before him, confused as to why the alpha would want the vampire dead. His opening the door had saved the vampire or maybe gave him a few more seconds before the wolf did strike again.
Angelo turned to Mikhail, his face full of hurt, before looking back at Zayn and pouncing on him.
"NOOOO!!" Carl shouted, making the wolf turned towards the door. Angelo looked at his brother, his ears being pulled by Hera, then at Mikhail, Darius, and Camille before turning to see Zayn on the other side of the door with them.
For the first time in his life, Angelo Morgan was thankful that vampires had their speed.
Without a care in the world, he shifted back to his human form and, in all of his naked glory, stood there, calling his brother with his eyes and daring him to make a run for it.
The situation was awkward, but ow was not really the time to the point that out.
