As Angelo waited to hear from his brother he was fighting his self-control.
It was not going to be easy especially with the devious woman holding her wine glass and staring at him. She knew he was mad at her.
She knew he was angry at her but he had to focus because otherwise, the whole of Alexei would have to witness the taking of their queen and that wouldn't be a sight to behold for anyone. It would probably scar them for life.
Angelo was trying to avoid that. Composing himself, he returned to his stoic face ad anger showing all over his face. He was however curious as to what the devious woman had in mind and as a result, he left the mind link open.
He loved her so much and she knew it too, so why was she adamant about defying him? Why did she go against him and the rules he had set for them? Why was it so easy for her? He knew his brother wouldn't have been able to fight against the Luna command much less Mikhail.
