Darius looked at the man in front of him, studying him almost scared that this was the last time they would be together.
He contemplated defending himself, giving his mate a response.
He contemplated rambling the apology he had been rehearsing in his head since he left the Luna's office.
He contemplated telling his mate to go clean the blood off of him.
He contemplated doing a lot of things, but here and now, looking at the man who loved him just like he did him, Darius couldn't help but have nothing to tell him.
So, he closed the distance between him and his mate, held his arm, and made him get up despite some of the blood sticking on him.
