Tenno: "To think that people in this world still use paper..."
Cy: "Look on the bright side. Even if it is impossible to come back to our world, you got a bed to sleep in, 3 meals a day-"
Tenno: "The tech here still sucks!"
Cy: "True. But nothing in The Railjack was unsalvageble. And woren't you happy about the situation a moment ago?"
Tenno: "I am happy to get a chance to live instead of just fight 24/7. There are other tenno to save the universe. I did my run! Far more then most! This is my chance to retire and i am not wasting it. Plus we will learn to use actual magic! how cool is that!? I just wish I could put all these 'books' my interface so I don't need to carry them arround..."
Cy: "Again, nothing in The Railjack was unsalvageble. If you don't like this museum technology, just hurry the repairs on our stuff."
Tenno: "I am hurrying it! How do you think I was able to get you to work on my parazon to go shopping for my school suplies with me?"
Tenno is in Diagonal Aley right now, buying his school suplies for year 1. Cy's program was downloaded to Tenno's parazon, a knife/whip/pendrive/BS that goes hiden under the wrist. Cy was not all that happy at first, as he is The Railjack's cephalon and would rather just deal with stuff concerning the ship, but the AI agreed to the change after he was reminded that ones responsible for Tenno stayed in their dimension.
After buying the telescope set, all that was left was the wand.
Tenno saved the best for last.
Arriving at the wand shop, tenno took a second look.
The shop was narrow and shaby. peeling gold letters over the door read [olivanders:Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C.]. A single wand lay on a faded purple cushion in the dusty window.
A tick mark apered on Tenno's forehead
Tenno:'Is THIS the famous Olivander shop? The best in the entire britain?'
As Tenno steped inside, a bell rang.
???:"Good aft-"
The voice camed out of nowhere and quick as the ninja he is, Tenno put his parazon blade on the throat of the stranger who snuck up upon him.
the stranger squealed as the cold and sharp metal blade drew a drop of blood.
Tenno had an expression that riveled the blade in both sharpness and coldness.
Tenno:"Who are you!?"
Stranger:" I'm-m-m Olivander! I O-own this shop!"
Tenno slowly withdrew his blade and apologised to Olivander, but warned him not to sneak on people like that. his face still showing he is unpleased.
Tenno:" I'm here to buy a wand."
Olivander:" O-oh, ok. Come over here. N-nice reflexes by the way."
Olivander was also still fidgety, but guided Tenno through the shop nonthenless while using his wand to clean the blood on his neck.
Olivander fished a long mesuring tape out of his pocket.
Olivander:"right handed or left handed?"
Tenno:"Ambidextrous, but i favor my right."
Olivander:"*nod* Please hold up your right arm at shoulder level. Yes that is it. I'll mesure you now."
Olivander mesured from shouder to finger, wrist to elbow, shoulder to floor...
As he mesured, Olivander started to explain a bit more about his wands.
Olivander: "The wands I make consist of both the outher wood and the magical core, the main cores i use are unicorn hair, dragon heartstring and phoenix tail feather. You must take care of your wand, as it is the one who choose it's wielder, you will never get the same results with a stolen or borrowed wand. also the wand grows with its wielder, so even if you manage to replace a lost wand with another loyal one, you will feel the diference."
Tenno noded.
Olivander:"Ok, mesuring done! Now hold on a second."
Olivander went to the back of the shop and came back with a pile of wands.
He ofered a wand to Tenno.
Olivander: "Right then, Unicorn hair and cherryblossom, seven inches, somewhat rigid. Give it a wave."
Tenno waved the wand and felt it pulling a bit of his void energy. it felt somewhat similar to using an amp.
The wand sudently started to decay and rot away in Tenno's hand.
Olivander:"Oh my! give it here. Did I mesured wrong? I never got such a bad reaction before."
Tenno:"I'm sorry for the wand, I can pay for the damage."
Olivander: Don't worry boy, these things happen. Stuff blows up in this shop every now and then. Now lest try something more diferent."
Olivander whent back to the back of the shop and took another batch of wands.
Olivander: "Ok, try this one Dragon heartstring, ebony, eleven inches, unbendable."
Tenno tryed again, and the wand seemed to handle his energy better but it still creaked.
Olivander:"Ok, now try this one..."
They tried lots of wands. Olivander was happy with the chalange but in the end, Cy decided to try something and wispered his idea to Tenno.
Tenno:"Mister Olivander, i have some unusual materials with me, do you think you could try and see if you can make some wands out of it?"
Olivander: "Eh? Sure, but do remember that the resulting wand still may not chose you even if you provided its materials."
Tenno:"That is ok. I just want to see if it is doable."

Time skip a week

Tenno is now back at Olivander's shop.
He came by every day to drop some suplies he had on the railjack and to test more wands.
Tenno would try (with no sucess) wands till he gets bored before leaving and coming back the next day. But today They finaly found Tenno's wand.
Olivander: "Willoping Willow(A/N:the fighter tree from book2) wood and argon crystal core, nine inches, bendy. It sure was a Quest. "
Tenno look almost without believing at the wand in his hand, a wand that seconds ago produced a small sphere of light on it's tip.
Tenno could feel the conection with the wand, as if it was a glove that fitted him perfectly.
