They were traveling their way to the mount, and they were making good time maybe too much of a good time, and they will make it there about three days earlier, and due to this. It is getting a lot more dangerous now, and on their way to the Mount they encounter Harpies, Hades's creatures, and more dangerous things on the way, but this doesn't explain anything why they were coming so earlier, but there was something waiting for them and trying to slow down their process, and that person name is Ares.
