Yong In woke up by her alarm. She took a bath and woke all of the people up to get ready for the activities that day. After everyone got ready, they waited for the driver outside the dorm building and then the driver brought them to the venue.
"Welcome every students to America. Firstly, I want to congratulate all of you for being chosen to join our prestigious program. Next, we'll do an introduction with each of the exchange students since we'll be together for about 3 months. Please come up the stage and introduce yourself, okay? First, I would like to invite the students from South Korea to introduce themselves first. "Yong In looked at Ji Mi and they both got up from their seat. Yong In put her hand on Ji Mi's shoulder while walking up the stage to make her feel less nervous.
" Hello everyone, we're from South Korea. I'm Kim Yong In. "Yong In introduced herself first and then passed the mic to Ji Mi.
" Hello, I'm Choi Ji Mi. Nice to meet all of you. "Both of them bowed.
" Okay, so they're from South Korea. To make it more fun, we'll open any questions to everyone. You can ask anything you want to know about both of them. And both of you, please answer honestly. " Both of them nodded. A boy raised his hand.
"Yes, the boy over there?" A facilitator gave a mic to him.
"I have a question for the pretty girl, Kim Yong In. Are you single?" Everyone cheered at the question. Yong In held the mic nervously.
"For now, I never thought of having any relationship. So, if you have any intention to hit on me, I'm sorry to say but you're rejected. Thank you." The boy's friends slapped him multiple times because he got rejected in public. Then, Jina raised her hand.
" Yong In, are you sure you've never thought of starting a relationship or are you waiting for someone? " Everyone howled.
" About why I don't want to start any relationship, I hope everyone understand that it's my privacy. Anymore question?" No one raised a hand.
" Okay, that's all for both of them. Wow, I can see that the student by name Kim Yong In is already popular, huh? Well, I can't deny her beauty is really amazing. You both can go back to your seat. "Both of them went down the stage to their seat.
After the introduction session ended, they had a lunch.
" Jina, why are you asking question like that in public? Please just keep my relationship with Sung Ki a secret, can you? " Yong In said as they sat down on a table together.
"I can. Sorry, I just wanted to play with you."
"It's okay. But, don't do that again!" Jina nodded eagerly.
"Hi. Can I eat with you?" They looked at the boy who asked Yong In the question earlier standing while looking at Yong In with sparkle eyes.
"Yeah, sure." He sat beside Yong In. Yong In ignored him and dug into her food.
"Umm... Yong In, can I be friend with you? My name is..."
"I'm sorry, whatever your name is, but she never said that she wanted to be friend with you. Moreover, she have someone else waiting for her at South Korea." Jina cut him off.
"You! I don't ask you. She didn't say anything. Why are you being a busybody?"
"You don't trust me?! Then, let's bet. If her boyfriend didn't call her in 5 minutes, you can be friend with her but if he called, you get lost."
"Okay then. It's a deal." Yong In looked at Jina with widened eyes and Jina smiled reassuringly. After a few seconds, her phone ringed. Everyone looked at her phone especially the boy beside her. She picked it up.
On the phone:
Yong In: Hello, Sung Ki ? What's wrong?
Sung Ki: I heard a boy is hitting on you right now.
Yong In: *looked at her side* Umm...
Sung Ki: Give the phone to him.
Yong In: What are you gonna do? Don't make trouble here!
Sung Ki: I give you two choice. Give the phone to him or I'll fly there right away.
Outside the phone:
Everyone watched her talking to her phone curiously. She then sighed and passed the phone to the boy.
In the phone:
Sung Ki: I heard you're hitting on my girl, am I right?
Boy: Umm.. I just want to be friend with her,I swear.
Sung Ki: Whatever your intention is, don't get close to her or else...!
Boy: I got it.
Outside the phone:
Yong In played with her hands nervously. Then, the boy gave the phone back and left.
In the phone:
Sung Ki: Has he gone?
Yong In: Hmm... What did you say?
Sung Ki: Nothing, just something a little brother should say to protect his beloved sister.
Yong In: Tch... Anyway, thanks.
Sung Ki: Anytime. I have to go to class now. Talk to you later. Love you!
He hung up. Yong In stunned at his last word.

Sung Ki hung up as soon as possible as he realized what he said.
"Aish, how could you let it out?! Hope she didn't hear it." He then left for the class after having a lunch break.

"Thank God that I'm clever." Jina claimed happily. Yong In who was spaced out earlier came back to the reality.
"What do you mean?" Yong In asked Jina curiously.
"During the session earlier, Sung Ki chatted me to ask about you. I told him about the boy who tried to confess to you in public. He said that he'll call you during lunch break and I suddenly remembered about it, that's why I made a bet with him earlier."
"So,all this time, you've been chatting with my little brother behind my back, huh?"
"To be exact, I'm your bodyguard and I reported everything about you to him."
"Aish... That boy with his jealousy and overprotective... By the way, thanks for helping me earlier."
"No worries. We're best friends, right?"
"Did you just say that we're best friends?" Yong In asked again unbelievable.
"Of course. I remember what you told us last night but trust me, I'm sincere with you. I won't be like others." Jina smiled sweetly. Yong In touched by her words.
