Chapter 234 - Chewing

The giant teased them, got bored of them and rolled a boulder on the entrance of the cave, leaving little room for sunlight to pass by.

"I will not start blaming people," Serenica said slowly. She had to grow into her role as a leader and do it quickly. Out of everyone, she was the person with the best wits, the most bloodthirsty cunning ambition, she was a vixen, and she would make everyone remember that.

"I will not start blaming people, and neither should anyone, but we need to have a moment to grieve our lost friend, Essieca."

Everyone was silent for a while.

Apparently there was little to say about the deceased if one was not able to bury them in water.

Serenica realized she had more than enough chewing tobacco in her mouth to last for several hours – or for the enjoyment of several people.

"Ed, I have chewing tobacco," the healer said. "I can't move my hands, but you can take it from my mouth and pass it on."
