Motion sickness?
This seemingly common symptom that many people experience in their daily lives could, at critical moments, become a deadly weapon!
During motion sickness, typical symptoms include dizziness, nausea, pale complexion, and in severe cases, there may be vomiting and even increased strain on breathing and blood circulation.
The patient already had a ruptured interventricular septum, coupled with manifestations of secondary heart failure. If there is violent vomiting, it could even lead to an additional burden on the heart, and once electrolyte imbalance occurs, this ambulance could at any moment turn into a hearse!
This is not a joke.
Sometimes, what is the duty and mission of an emergency physician?
Perhaps not everyone is quite clear about that.
