On July 1st, 2997, Roger Baker and Simon Camp led the special task force composed mainly of human beings, and more than 300 allied races, to the outer layer of the Cloudtop Star Region.
The special task force split in two. Roger Baker led the elite troops to swiftly attack a large transport fleet coming from the Galactic Center toward the Cloudtop Star Region.
The defensive force of this transport fleet was incredibly strong. If it weren't for the timely response of Roger Baker and 50,000 special task force members, they would have been nearly trapped and immediately defeated.
Fortunately, there was a white dwarf near the advancing route of Roger Baker and his team.
Using the gravity slingshot of the white dwarf, the elite troops accelerated in a very short time, reaching near-light speed with the Medium Engine, and then plunged into a dense, fragmented meteorite belt hours later.
