Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: Surprise

Immediately after Stroph began firing, the old plastic door shattered into pieces and two people in his target area died instantly.

Standing outside the door, Stroph realized that shooting through it he could only hit two, live targets and also learn the total number of his enemies.

Tonight he would have eleven men to kill. One of them, judging by his aura, was quite strong.

After two consecutive shots the two second rank fighters' heads just exploded and they slowly fell to the ground. These two didn`t even realize how or who had killed them.

Stroph didn't rush into the room immediately, he had no idea what weapons his opponents were using, so going out into the open space would be incredibly stupid.

One thing that pleased him was that the strongest man, judging by his aura, was quite far away and he had time to deal with the others before he faced the main attraction of the program.

As Stroph realized, after his shots, there were five more second rank fighters, three first rank and one unknown.

He hid behind the door waiting for the actions of the men inside the room.

For a while there was literally nothing happening, everything was quiet, only the whisper of some people could be slightly heard.

They weren`t seemed ready to risk either, for they didn't know how many people came out against them and how strong they were, especially since there were already two fewer of them.

Stroph began to consider what he should do next, when suddenly the scream of Snow White Darkness sounded sharply in his head:

Stroph had never heard his companion screaming before, but he had no time to think about that now, he instantly bounced off the wall he was hiding behind, and in an instant, it was simply blown away by a large, long spear.

After the wall collapsed, one man grumbled grudgingly, "Damn, I`ve missed, I knew he was here"

The speaker was quietly unremarkable man except for the fact that he was holding a big, long spear.

Seeing him and this attack Stroph immediately began to ponder what had just happened:

He didn't have time to think about it, since he was about to fight this spearman out in the open, but the answer came instantly to his mind.

After these thoughts Stroph nodded slightly, took out the Last Light, pointed it at the man and fired a single shot.

The spearman hardly was able to dodge and the rumble behind him, created by the electromagnetic cartridge hitting the wall, made him wary.

He was clearly aware that if he had been hit mark he would be dead by now.

Stroph wasn't too surprised that he couldn't hit his target, because his opponent was ready to dodge, the purpose of this shot wasn't to kill his opponent, it was just to test his reaction, so just a second later he fired two shots right under the feet of the spearman.

He was aiming exactly at the ground.

The man thought the bullets were coming straight at his feet, so he bounced a little, shifting his attention from Stroph to his feet, which was his fatal mistake.

Stroph's characteristics as a second rank fighter were at a good level, so just only with his strength and speed, he was instantly in front of the spearman and swung a hard blow right into his chest.

The man couldn't dodge, he wasn't prepared for that, moreover at the moment his eyes weren't even aimed at Stroph.

He went flying and crashed into the wall behind him with a rumble. The blow broke his rib cage, severely damaged his organs and caused a terrible internal bleed.

Stroph didn't look at the man any more, though he was a second rank fighter, he wouldn't recover from such wounds.

The others were stunned by the fact Stroph could so easily kill their spearman.

Stroph didn't know it, but everyone else knew perfectly well that besides their leader, this man was the strongest in their group.

Everyone became a little nervous, their calmness gradually evaporated, they needed time for their leader to come and save them. But to their great regret, they were not the only ones who understood this.

Each of the remaining seven men was hiding behind shelters, the most ones behind simple stone walls.

But Stroph wasn't embarrassed by this fact, it wouldn`t be a problem for him to break through a single wall.

Firing the last two bullets out of his revolver, he killed two more, then immediately hid himself and began to reload. The deaths of two more guys left the others in a real panic, they didn`t know what they should do. It was for the first time they had ever faced such danger.

And to all appearances, one of them couldn't hold his nerve, as a man with a rusty pipe in his hand ran straight toward the wall behind which Stroph was hiding. It was one of the fighters of the first rank.

Stroph was well aware that the enemy was running toward him and he knew how strong he was.

It was not worth wasting ammunition on such a little thing, which on top of everything else was panicked. The moment the man ran up to Stroph's hideout and was about to hit him with his pipe, he felt something squeezed his neck.

Stroph just decided to use his strength to crush the man's neck, which he did successfully without any problems. The man died within seconds, hopelessly trying to escape Stroph's grip. The moment he stopped breathing, Stroph's hand loosened and the man's body fell to the ground.

Seeing this scene, the survivors had only one desire-to escape from this place by all means.

None of them had any thoughts of fighting or stalling, by the time their chief got here, they would all be dead!

But Stroph wasn't going to leave anyone alive, he needed to kill everyone and keep the goods intact, and as he had time to notice, there were no people going to organs here, apparently they were in another room, so he could rampage as he wanted and not care what he might ruin the extra things.

Coming out of the hiding, he immediately started shooting. There were only four people left alive and a second later three of them fell to the floor like headless horsemen and the fourth had his leg blown off.

Stroph approached the man he had deliberately left alive, it was another first rank fighter.

Seeing Stroph approaching him, the man immediately began pleading: "Please! Don't kill me! I'll do anything you say! I don't want to die..." Like any other man he did not want to face death, but he had little choice.

Walking up to the man Stroph began to say slowly, "I'm sorry, but I'm very sleepy and your life prevents my long-awaited meeting with the bed, just be nice and tell me, are the goods downstairs or upstairs?"

Naturally, the man didn't answer, but Stroph didn't need to, he understood it all perfectly well from his face, so the next moment he snapped the man`s neck.

Stroph was about to look for a way down, when suddenly a blurry human-like image appeared in front of him, which grabbed his right arm and instantly sent Stroph flying straight into the wall.
