Chapter 7 - Fail Safe

Peace and quiet was welcomed with a soft strong rhythmic pounding beat, like that of a drum, echoed all around me.

This bliss...

I know that deep down, that it won't last.

Soon I need to wake up...

Soon...

I'm taking a nap right now!

The process of how I got out of here is still lost in my memory and I don't feel like doing anything.

That in itself is a rare thing for me.. to get this much relaxing much needed sleep.

I just don't want to miss it. Dreamless sleep still envelopes me though, as I feel that something large yet quite younger than me has been slowly getting closer ever since I closed my eyes.

(I'm still a teenager.. so something that is younger.. than me.. must be the younger kids on the shuttle!)

"Chuckle"

A deep sound softly rumbled from all directions. So when I looked for the source, I could not find anything.

The soft rumble sounded again and rippled throughout my surroundings as multiple deep soft chuckles sounded in succession as if something was funny.

I realized that I could not open my eyes to see, trying to do so did not make any difference.

It was as if something was not wanting me to wake up yet.

Moving to stretch I noticed that there was some resistance against my body. I seemed to be in weightless breathable water type liquid as after currents moved in patterns once I did.

It felt weird yet oddly entertaining even though I haven't opened my eyes yet.

The deep chuckles sounded again, only slowly getting louder as I played with my surroundings.

"What's so funny?" I asked curiously.

"Multiple things... but it really has.. been a.. really long time since I've seen you like this." *sigh*  A deep sigh sent strong but small ripples through the bubble and made me sway. "It's very refreshing."

"?.?"

"Can I see you?"

"You're not yet ready to comprehend who I am just yet..." The abyssal voice sounded dejected at his own answer.

".._-_.."

"Maybe someday but not now." He reassured me.

"...^•^..."

Atop the pool, the greenery of the endless garden, was slowly engulfed in red and blue flames making its way from the outer edges towards the center.

"I feel like I need to wake up now... how do I?" I asked pouting.

"Simple yet hard, until you get used to it."

"Does that mean I can come back here?" I asked hopefully.

"Yes, it does. This is a 'Time Mind Link Space', you can come back anytime when you think you are in a safe place to do so. Alright?"

Relief flooded my being like a feeling of safety that I missed. "...ok.... what do I call you?"

"....."

The silence seemed to go on for a few hours as I tried to open my eyes to the dark blue water-like substance.

Managing to open my hazel eyes I see a large dark shadow tower over the sphere. Trying to focus my eyes to see what or who he was I could never get past the blurry shield and watery substance that obstructed my vision.

Since he first spoke I could make out that it was him by his voice.

Deduced, he was probably thinking with his arms crossed and one hand over his eyes and half of what could be his face because of the darker color of shadows vs the shade of the rest of his 'Spectral aspect?'

Looking down at myself to see what I was... just made me dizzy.

*Spins*

 "s**t"

"...Pfft....HAHAha!!"

"HELP I CAN'T STOP!!"

---Different P.o.v---

Pondering on what to have her call me when she is the one always giving names to New Creations before she had been forced to be reverted to infancy due to a life threatening wound.

Which makes her body become layers of pure thick crystals to the age she is at time of what should be death.

Though the time of which said crystals melt back into herself as she regains herself as an infant. Should the Crystal be Damaged or cracked in any way will result in random memory loss.

But that's almost impossible due to the purity and hardness of the composition of the material that only one other material will be able to damage. It is an Emerald Green Ore that hasn't been named in all the eons that I have lived...

But it is hard to find and even harder to mine and impossible to craft into a weapon...

Unless you're a Maker or an Original Being or an Original Maker.

Either way you have to be God lvl or higher in Mining and Smithing in order to get and make it.

Taking a peek at my Amnesiac Mistress only to see her start spinning made me lose composure as she kept getting faster the more she looked at where her feet should be.

"HELP I CAN'T STOP!"

"Bwahahahahaha"

Ripples from my hard laughter shook the water substance and rocked the Shield which made her spin in different directions which set me off on a new level of laughter.

"He..Lp mEeE!"

The layers of Darkness which they were at slowly started to become brighter and brighter.

Sensing something off I raised my large hands to either side of the Shield and pressed slightly, bringing her spinning session to a stop.

I felt her body's energy begin to pulse at odd intervals.

As she held her head trying to focus or regain her senses I looked up and saw the small circular entrance where the Green Grass grew only to see it set aflame and red fire raged as bright as a SuperNova as it changed to white and blue and back again.

She finally focused again so I brought my eyes down to her level without blinking.

"Pretty."

"..." (that's never happened before) "What do you see?"

"Abyssal Blue Eyes... Y?.. They're really pretty!"

"That's my name for now alright?"

"Alright." she said with a smile. "Are you Shadow Dragon Blue eyes?"

"??? No." (wtf) "I'm stronger than a Dragon so you can always rely on me, alright?" (I will protect you properly this time around.. I just need to find her physical location again .-.)

"Is it time to wake up now? Something feels like it's wrong." She asks while trying to look up without spinning.

"Yes.. it is... just remember what you call me and I'll come If I can."

"..^w^.."

"Now close your eyes."

Once her eyes closed I collapsed my hands and brought my head close and blew through the small gap in-between my hands as I woke her up.

Hopefully... she can handle what was waiting for her.

----Back at the Ship before the spinning incident----

"ARRRGH! HOLD ON MATES... DEAL W..H... T.. PAIN... RIDE IT... ARRRGH!!!" A Male voice sounded strained as it tried to be loud enough over the system to be heard by the younger ones.

Hopefully to give them hope to continue to struggle against the force that appeared out of nowhere.

---In Space---

A star could be seen going into supernova right on top of the last fading signal sent from a transport vessel before the Mist in the Quadrant disappeared at a visible rate towards the expanding Star as interference was strongly pinpointed as the Star slowly but surely eating away at its energy and was collapsing at a visual pace...

If one was able to resist the pull and breathe in space would be able to see its almost imminent transformation into a black hole as soon as all the mist was recovered.

Instead of taking years to form a black hole, it took minutes. But what was visible on the outside took longer to happen on the 'Event Horizon' where the transport ship was currently stuck in something worse than the bottom level of Hell.
