Tom had been advised that a call had come from Meadow lane on Wednesday. The alarm had gone off, but everyone was safe. It would be interesting to see what the data, gathered by him and his fellow police officers, would show for that night.
Fernborough was not a hotbed of crime. Patrols would drive through the town at night and also cruise around the local area. The occasional drunk driver, or rowdy group of teenagers, were all that was likely to be found. There was plenty of time available to gather some intel about cars seen near Meadow Lane.
His colleagues had been happy to help when Tom had asked them and the sergeant had approved the operation. Any cars parked on the road or driving around the area would be logged. Registration number and location. Hopefully, a parked car, on the same evening as an incursion, would be a clue as to who was breaking into the house.
