Evan was standing outside a banquet hall holding a flower bouquet in his hands where a loud music was playing. It was their reunion party and he was specially invited by his fav teacher Mr. Harris , so he couldn't say no to him. He was wearing a black suit with pink shirt as per the dress code . He was standing there from almost 20 minutes contemplating to go inside or not . He took a long breath and finally decided that he was not going in . Just when he turned around to go back someone called him from behind.... "Evan"
Evan paused in his steps just by hearing that voice ,how can he not recognize whom this voice belongs to . Evan closed his eyes , took a long breath , adjusted his facial expression and turned around. There she was standing in a pink off shoulder dress . Her hairs were tied in a messy bun . she was looking beautiful as she always looks in his dreams . Aanvi smiled at him and said "Evan , you are late " . Evan was staring at her , neither he could move his eyes away from her face nor he could say anything . Aanvi sensed his awkwardness , she looked at the flowers and said "ahh.. you brought flowers for me " and Aanvi took flowers from his hands.
Can he say no, these flowers were meant to be for the host of the party. can he take those flowers back...i guess no. Evan was still standing there like a statue , he was looking at her intensely . When he didn't reply Aanvi said ,"what .....? , party has started. "
Evan wanted to say something but he felt like his throat is parched . He wanted to go outside to smoke but he couldn't move. Aanvi sensed his stiffness and said ," Why you are behaving like this' is this the way to treat your girlfriend , you are not even giving me a hug ?'
This time his his expression changed , he furrowed his brows thinking he heard something wrong . "what , still hesitating ?" this time Aanvi's voice was higher . HE couldn't understand what was going on with her . They clearly brokeup 3 years ago , then why .... He felt like he was having hallucinations . When she didn't noticed any movement from him she pouted and said "do you have another woman behind my back ?"
this time he moved and pulled her in to his arms and hugged her tightly and said , "no, you are the only woman i can have..."
